[Denemo-devel] cairo branch

I have built and installed torbenh's cairo branch of Denemo.
The install is a local (non-root) install to my home directory and this
fails just at the end, trying to change /etc/denemo.conf.
This may account for the behavior:
The program starts up and you can use the commands, the display is drawn
by Cairo, but it looks like the fonts(?) for drawing are missing.
E.g. the treble clef shows as a capital E with acute accent and so on
for anything that isn't a straight line or text.
I think this indicates a bug in our top level automake stuff, since it
should be possible for a user to configure with --prefix and then
install there.
