I am afraid this turns off the restoring of the cursor after changes. To
see this (with standard command set) put the CapsLock on and click and
drag on notes - this will change the cursor while drawing in slurs.
But the cursor does not change back. The problem is there does not seems
to be a GTK cursor that matches the one you see at startup.
So, in brief, this is the correct point in the code but the else
statement needs replacing by something that restores the cursor that is
active by default.
