You need to set these in Edit->preferences->externals

This will be due to files in a folder called .denemo
which is probably in My Documents or some such. It holds your
preferences in a file. You can put the whole thing in the wastebasket
whereupon the old version will go back to using what it has built in
(and create you a new .denemo folder).
The underlying problem is that we don't have any way at the moment for
telling which pdf viewer you use and where it is, (etc).
You were just lucky the first time.

You need to set these in Edit->preferences->externals to values that are
good for your machine - you need to find the location of the LilyPond
executable program etc
