I've had the same problem. Actually, it seems that there is only
a manpage for cduce_mktop in the 0.3.0 archive, but not the
sources of the program (or it is really very well hidden). 

What i did in my ebuild is that i didn't use the install_bin make
target (i install cduce, cdo2ml and mlcduce_wrapper by hand), but
only install_lib. Oh, and there's also a file missing for that
target actually, "META.in", so i had to rewrite it (see
attachement).


PS: Many thanks for the various manpages you've wrote for your
Debian packages, i've reused them for the Gentoo ebuilds ;)
