Would you like to make address@hidden a moderated list?
I volunteer to be a moderator.

I'm currently moderating bug-gdb and gdb, and co-moderating on
bug-gnu-utils and help-gnu-utils. These lists are set up so that all
postings from non-subscribers are held for approval. Four or five times
a week, I hit the web interface, delete all the spam, and approve all
the non-spam.

The big plus: no spam.
The big minus: more latency when legitimate mail comes to the list.
Plus the moderators have to do work.

You're the owner of the list so anything you want to do is fine.
