It does not look like there has been an update since 2013, is there a newer
version and I'm just looking in the wrong place?
I was looking at:
https://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/
There's no released version that's newer than that. Ddd has been
unmaintained for many years.
Over the years, there have been people that have expressed an interest
in reviving DDD and modernizing it (newer widget set, modernize the C++
code and rely on modern libraries like boost). You might be able to find
forked versions of the code that has some files updated, but with unfinished
changes.
There really is an unfilled niche for what ddd provides, but it would take
a very dedicated, committed champion to revive ddd, at this point.
