Hi Michael,

This has been badly broken for a long time (OK, a couple years) and there is no fix in sight given that, AFAIK, no one is maintaining ddd any longer. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, I truly hope that I am!

I still use ddd under Linux (for now, at least) but now use only Xcode on bare macOS. Happy to send you my Xcode hints digest if you like.

Just installed ddd via brew on macOS 10.12.6 and got immediate crash on first run. Full session ($ in bold is shell pro mpt):
