hello i have been trying to use ddd to look at the postgresql source code... i did the following steps. 1.invoke ddd by the following command $ddd --pid=postgresqlpid[local] 2.the ddd console arrives n i the attach the breakpoint at some place.
however whenever i give the run command at the gdb prompt i get the follllowing error message:
/usr/local/pgsql/postgres does not know where to find the server configuration file . you must specify the --config-file option or the -D option or set the PGDATA environment variable..
however i hav already specified the -D option while invoking postgresql.
