DDD Attaching to Process Question

I am running a program that creates multiple threads and then calls are
routed through the threads from clients (from anywhere)...I want to attach
to one of the threads and set a breakpoing in my .so (called from
sharedobject that is called from main executable).

I startup the service and then I run ddd inanother session and then connect
to the PID via the attach process menu item. I set my breakpoint and then
run my client...The problem is that it NEVER stops
at my breakpoint even though I know its processing through that code.

Any idea?

I am running on Redhat 7.3 and have DDD version 3.3.1.

Thanks!
