Can't start ddd on AIX 5.1

Hi,

when I install ddd 3.3.1 (manully copy man to /usr/man, share to
/usr/share, and ddd exe to /usr/bin)
I issue "ddd" I return with error as:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ddd because of the following errors:
        0509-150   Dependent module libstdc++.a(libstdc++.so.5) could not
be loaded.
        0509-022 Cannot load module libstdc++.a(libstdc++.so.5).
        0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does
not exist.

I did try to install Visualage version 5.0.2 after that and retry ddd
It still fail the same way. I look for the file:  libstdc++.a
and it is not exist in my system whatsoever.

Is the file  libstdc++.a from C++ version 4 only?
