Thanks for the pointer...  I got the configure for the DDD to run.  
Now its the "make" turn!  :)  I am getting a complaint that it can't cd to
the directories where the libs reside.  Any ideas why that would not work?

You also need LessTif for Cygwin.  It should be on the same page as
Xfree.
