ddd with PGI FORTRAN

Hello,

I am using DDD/GDB under LINUX to debug FORTRAN code compiled with the
Portland
Group Compiler. This works but it is only possible to look at local
variables of a routine
and only the first two characters of a string variable can be printed. Maybe
this is a GDB and
not a DDD problem. Any idea what can be done to improve this?
