What's the command line you are using to configure this.  Whats the
version of DDD?  I can compile ddd 3.1.5 and 3.2.1 on 2.5.1 and 2.6 
with no configure changes.  The command line automagically looks 
in /usr/openwin/include and /usr/openwin/lib.
