Hi. I am using Avira 3.1.3.4-1 with Ubuntu 10.10 (with subsequently updated kernel),
and found instructions on how to get DazukoFS to work with it
(basically, copy two files from 3.1.4-rc2 into 3.1.3, replacing them, and compile 3.1.3).
All is well for now.

Do you know if Avira is planning to do this?
They must be, or their AVGuard would not function, would it?
It would be complicated, I would think, as some of their customers would have the
older kernels and would need DazukoFS, and some would have the newer and need to
use fanotify... Maybe just a smart script that reads the kernel info from the system, though...
In which kernel is fanotify complete/debugged enough to be usable in place of DazukoFS?
