I recently started using Ubuntu, and have Karmic (9.10).
I downloaded Avira Pers. 3.0.5-13, but found that the version of DazukoFS included didn't match my Linux kernal.
My kernal is 2.6.31-20, so I downloaded and installed DazukoFS 3.1.2., which is targeted at Linux 2.6.31. Everything seems fine (AVguard says it's running, which somewhere it says cannot happen without a working DazukoFS).
My question is: later this month, Ubuntu Lucid (10.04) will be out, which uses Linux 2.6.32.
Your next version (3.1.3) is not quite ready for prime time (rc2 was just released), but even if it were, it is apparently targeted for 2.6.33. There appears to be no version targeted for 2.6.32.
Will my 3.1.2 also work with 2.6.32, or should I get 3.1.3 (ready or not) when I switch to Lucid?
