CorePKG 6 is released!

We are proud to announce the release of CorePKG, edition 6.

This release contains bug fixes and improvements.

CorePKG is a minimalist software package manager for Unix systems, including

CorePKG is distributed under the terms of the GNU General
Public License version 2+.

Getting the software

Here are the BZip2 compressed sources (11K):


Here is an installable package (10K):


The package requires corepkg to be installed. If it is not, it can
be extracted with the Unix tar command:

   tar xzf corepkg-6+1.cpk bin/corepkg.

To install, the /etc/core/ directory must first exist. This
can be done as the root user with the following command:

   mkdir -pm 755 /etc/core/.
