Not that I really know much about this stuff. But I think following
jwsdp is the right thing to do. This is most likely what real
applications are using.

Awesome! Could you update the doc/README.jaxp to describe how we follow
the jaxp 1.3/1.4 interfaces/implementations.

This has been added just before we want to push out 0.18 (on Monday or
Tuesday I hope). And I am OK with it going in as long as we mention in
the NEWS file that this is our first implementation and that we are
looking for feedback on it. But I do want it to be a deliberate choice.
We can also disable it for now in lib/standard.omit if you are not
certain it is a good addition. I think it is something that people want
to have, but you are obviously more qualified to say whether we include
it "officially" now or not.

This goes for all new things of course. Audrius did a really good job of
documenting all the omg/corba additions in the NEWS file. Please add
something if you wrote something new since 0.17. Sven said (on irc) that
he deliberately didn't mention the new Qt4 peers for now because they
are not fully "baked" yet. Please let me know how/if you want to
'advertise' things/or add it to the NEWS file yourself unless you want
me to make up (probably bogus) stuff for the release announcement :)

Cheers,

Mark
