[Chicken-users] basic .csirc question

hi all, i'm new here

i have a question about .csirc files

is there a way to have indicate in my .csirc the wherabouts of my
$CHICKEN_REPOSITORY ?

this way, i can invoke csi via cluck, eshell, and other environments
that don't read my .zshrc
