Again, "safe" calls must be used to avoid callbacks from crashing
(check the swig+chicken docs for that, I can't remember right now
how/whether the swig/chicken interface handles that).

The code doesn't crash. The callback get's called. That's not the problem.
What's missing, is the support for argument passing.
