#1657: It would be nice if glob "/*/*" worked
------------------------------------------+-----------------------
Reporter: evhan | Owner: (none)
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: not urgent at all | Milestone: someday
Component: core libraries | Version: 5.1.0
Resolution: | Keywords: glob file
Estimated difficulty: easy |
------------------------------------------+-----------------------
Comment (by Vasilij Schneidermann):
I see two ways of going forward here:
- Use `glob(3)`
- Make existing code smarter (Python's implementation covers this case and
more)
The former seems somewhat appealing to me, but would change the behavior
considerably.
