#309: R5RS inexact number read/write invariance
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
Reporter: kon | Owner: kon
Type: enhancement | Status: assigned
Priority: trivial | Milestone:
Component: core libraries | Version: 3.0.1
Resolution: | Keywords: inexact i/o invariance
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
Comment (by kon):
Thank you for the fpio egg. I will look into what is needed to support
this as a runtime "patch" for numeric I/O. But "core" incorporation is
problematic.
This falls in the "core configuration" area (a loose term for those
aspects of Chicken where an "incomplete" implementation is provided by the
core). I think the priority is "major" but the ability to "hook" needs a
re-think (I think).
