attached is the file i used to track licence data.  the various maintainers
of ports will possibly find it useful.  key to the first character:

!  - something is wrong, needs changing. (see previous posts)
?  - something may be wrong, dont trust this until more data (see previous)
M  - everything matched up, this is good
C  - this changed to the new value, this is good
