Thanks, I've pushed the first of these directly. I've also attached
signoffs for the second, third (squashed) and fourth, editorialised
slightly in the tests. In particular I've added a Windows test, which
was missing.
While testing the third and fourth patches, I didn't encounter an error
during module *finalisation*, but when loading the resulting import
library. This is due to the file having an entry like (<name> #f) in its
syntax exports list, which your fourth patch fixes just the same. I
think the issue remains, however, when "keep-shadowed-macros" is
enabled. It would be good to address that too, at some point.
