Dear Arjen,

We are currently in a big development phase for CERTI which might end in April 2020 and one of our milestones includes an update of PyHLA to support HLA Evolved (IEEE 1516-2010).
Unfortunately this phase hasn't started yet but if you are interested, I can keep you updated when we will start this phase.

In the meantime, I have been updating some part of certi/applications to match with certi 4.0.0 in a dedicated branch "br_jbch_4.0.0".
On this branch, I think I had to make a change in the PyHLA CmakeLists.txt, maybe you can try this?

I am currently out of office but I will have a closer look when I will be back.
You can also create an issue ticket on the savannah website to keep track on your findings/notes.

Many thanks for reporting,
Best regards,
Jean-Baptiste

Hello,

I am trying to compile CERTI and PyHLA, both master branch, on a windows 10 machine (MinGW).

I am able to compile CERTI 3.5.1 and PyHLA 1.1.1 and get a simple distributed application working (GCC v4.8.3, Python v2.7). I am also able to compile CERTI 4.0.0 (gcc v7.3.0) and get the CERTI tests working, but building the master branch of PyHLA fails (for several versions of gcc (4.8.3, 7.3.0, 8.x), giving various errors)

Is the current version of the Python bindings for CERTI compatible with CERTI 4.0.0? If yes, could you provide me with any steps to undertake to get the build chain working? If no, what needs to be done and how can I help?

Thanks a lot

Best Regards,
Arjen van der Meer
