        Hi,

I tried to run Catalog 1.03 with apache 1.3.27 and mysql 3.23.54a, on
various environments:

1) Slackware 8.0 with perl 5.6.1 - OK

2) Solaris 9 (Sparc) with perl 5.8.0 - OK

3) Solaris 7 (Sparc) with perl 5.6.1 - It didn't work

4) Solaris 7 (Sparc) with perl 5.8.0 - It didn't work

For the last 2 environments above, the client browser shows:

"Internal Server Error"

The message in apache error_log for the error above:

[Thu Jan 23 11:28:29 2003] tools.pm: Use of "package" with no arguments
is deprecated at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/Catalog/tools/tools.pm line 378.

The INSTALL documentation for Catalog has the "Requires:":

Some perl modules need patches to work properly. Look for
          *.patch in the Catalog directory.

I had search the *.patch archives, but I didn't find them!!!

Please, how can I solve this problem?

        Thanks in advance,

        Yann
