Thanks. I am still fixing bugs in Lua Zile at the moment, so I've not
yet started looking at C-via-FFI, so I may need reminding of
luajit-zile later.

Or I may not, as github is a brilliant (if potentially rather
impersonal) way to collaborate like this.

I have to say, Mac OS sounds fairly horrible for development at the
moment. But maybe as a Mac user, putting up with the Ubuntu desktop is
just as incomprehensible. I am, in fact, a Mac user: my desktop
machine is a Mac mini; but I also appreciate the hardware support that
Ubuntu brings, allowing my laptop to be a cheap (but excellent)
Samsung NC-10...
