Hello,
I am new to zebra, but I do not see this as a normal behaviour.
I have compiled zebra-0.93b under Solaris 2.6. After running the zebra and
the rip daemon I have telnet to port 2602 (ripd) and configured some
networks under 'router rip':
...
interface ppp114
!
interface ppp115
!
router rip
network 172.24.66.0/24
network 172.24.68.0/24
network 172.24.71.0/24
!
line vty
!
end
Then I wanted to save the configuration:
ripd# wr mem
Configuration saved to /usr/local/etc/ripd.conf
ripd#
Everything looks normal, but then I have noticed that the ripd.conf file was
empty:
(address@hidden)#ls -lrt /usr/local/etc/
total 20
-rw------- 1 root other 2801 sbre 25 09:56 bgpd.conf.sample2
-rw------- 1 root other 572 sbre 25 09:56 bgpd.conf.sample
-rw------- 1 root other 182 sbre 25 09:56 ospfd.conf.sample
-rw------- 1 root other 375 sbre 25 09:56 zebra.conf.sav
-rw------- 1 root other 375 sbre 25 12:14 zebra.conf
-rw------- 1 root other 375 sbre 25 12:39 zebra.conf.sample
-rw------- 1 root other 412 sbre 25 12:39 ripd.conf.sample
-rw------- 1 root other 412 sbre 25 12:40 ripd.conf.sav
-rw------- 1 root other 0 sbre 25 12:41 ripd.conf
(address@hidden)#
After several tries, the results has always been the same.
Since this is not a routing issue, I do not think a netstat -rn will help,
so I will not send it, but if you need it, just tell me.
I have configured zebra with no special options.
Regards,
Fran
