Re: Double write speed for BD-R without defect management

Hi,

i now tested my current BD-R backup medium with the wish for -speed 2
in an ASUS BW-16D1HT drive.
It burnt with 4x, which is the lowest speed it tells when asked by
command -list_speeds.

The BD-R cannot be tested in my other BD drives, because it alreay has
142 sessions, which would cause the other drives to refuse or to close it
after writing another session. It will last about 75 days until that
BD-R is full and a new one will be put into service.
(It is readable by all but my oldest drives, which cannot read modern
BD-R media at all. BD-RE are still ok for them.)
