Hi,

That's a special quirk of Xfburn. It does not say how large the medium is,
but rather the smallest known medium size on which the job would fit.

If you add more files and exceed the 650 MiB CD size, next shown value
will be 700 MiB.

Just go on as usual.

If the burn run fails again, the first suspect would be "Datenstromaufnahme"
as this is not normally used with CD media (because of no benefit).
I wonder why David Mohr did not set the default depending on the medium
type. (But on the other hand it does not display the medium size either.)

A shell ommand line would be

  xorriso -for_backup -outdev /dev/sr0 -map ~/tmp/'2019-03-17_Eselsburger Tal' /

The whole directory tree underneath ~/tmp/'2019-03-17_Eselsburger Tal' will
be copied to the / directory tree of the CD. MD5 checksums will be recorded.
