Oops. That was not intentional. I will have to explore why the type 0x00
has an impact on the boot flag. It does not happen if i set type to 0x01.
Option --mbr-force-bootable with type 0x00 cripples the partition to a size
of 1 block. Grrr ...

In theory, the boot flag should not influence success of GRUB or ISOLINUX
to start up. But there seem to be firmwares which want to see it in order
to accept the device as bootable.
