So it's probably a 32 bit machine. (Or at least boots by
the 32 bit EFI binary.)
2 offers ... i'd say MBR partition and APM partition.
(If the firmware is EFI enough to ignore the GPT.)
Now i wonder what is the decisive difference between this mjg
and my grub-mkrescue "mjg".
The lack of HFS+ in the Debian ISO ?
The mountability of the Debian ISO partitions ?
What happens if you give that Mac a "mbr_hfs" ISO ?
(If it does not boot any more, then HFS+ is to blame.)
What happens with the combination of "mjg", MKRESCUE_SED_PARTNO=2,
and MKRESCUE_SED_PROTECTIVE=no ?
(If this boots then mountability of ISO partition is needed.)
Have a nice day :)
