Hi,

MBR partition table: N Status Type Start Blocks
  MBR partition : 1 0x80 0x83 0 32220
  MBR partition : 2 0x00 0xef 32220 5760

And the other non-working "EFI Boot" offer is gone ?
(That would mean it was the APM/HFS+ boot path.)

MBR partition table: N Status Type Start Blocks
  MBR partition : 1 0x00 0xee 1 32283
  MBR partition : 2 0x80 0x00 1 32283

But if it is beneficial, i could support it by some new xorriso
option.

Are there any bootable media for it, which are not from Apple ?

(I.e. two working boot offers ?)

That's why i said "Oh". Not having to patch would remove the need
for random access to the output file.
It works with xorriso-1.3.2.
(But not with 1.2.2 from Debian oldstable, because not knowing
 --grub2-mbr and --grub2-boot-info, and because -append_partition
was not properly coordinated with --protective-msdos-label.)

Have a nice day :)
