[Bug-xorriso] EFI boot option in mkisofs emulation of xorriso

Subject: [Bug-xorriso] EFI boot option in mkisofs emulation of xorriso
Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2010 19:36:04 +0530

    I want to create EFI based Archlinux x86_64 boot isos using grub2
uefi (dual el-torito entries iso - using syslinux for bios entry and
grub2 for efi entry - default bios entry) for use in Intel EFI.
Xorriso development version includes a -efi-boot option but no such
option exists in case of "xorriso -as mkisofs" . Can you provide
options like the way described in this site -

xorriso -as mkisofs -U -A "MyLinux_1 x86_64" -V "MyLinux_1 x86_64 Disc 1" \
    -volset "MyLinux_1 x86_64" -J -joliet-long -r -v -T -x ./lost+found \
    -o /home/pjones/MyLinux/1/x86_64/iso/MyLinux_1-x86_64-disc1-dualboot.iso \
    -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot
-boot-load-size 4 \
    -boot-info-table -eltorito-alt-boot -e images/efiboot.img
-no-emul-boot ${PWD}

Fedora uses a patched mkisofs, but since xorriso already includes such
support please include it in mkisofs emulation mode too. Thank you.
