I am afraid that this is the current situation, and it probably should
count as a bug/oversight. It just never occurred to me that people would
look to the message field for seeing the engine scores, when I added the
-scoreWhite and -absoluteAnalysisScores options. But I agree it would be
more logical to display the same score there as in the Engine Output
window. So I should probably patch it that way for XBoard 4.9.
