It looks like the clock font that is selected (probably by default)
is not present on your system. You could try to install it, or overrule the default selection by use of the -clockFont argument. (Which would then be remembered for this board size.) The texts on the main menu bar are readable, so you should at least have some X-fonts on your system that do work. I notice from the screenshot that you are using the Xaw build of XBoard, however. Perhaps you should use the GTK build instead. The GTK widget set uses completely different fonts, which are much more likely to be already present on your system, as most other software uses GTK too, nowadays. Hello I am using Xboard with Stockfish, everything runs fine, except the clocks as you can see on the pic below, is there any way to fix this? |
