Well, if that is the case, peraps Steve could also try one of the WinBoard 
4.3 downloads
from the WinBoard forum. (

These don't come with installers, just executables of WinBoard and the 
associated supporting
applications. I have little experience with Vista in general, and none at 
all with Vista Enterprise
in particular, so it would be interesting for me to know if WinBoard 4.3.15 
runs without problems
there.

Then, if there are problem, he can be sure they will be addressed.
