URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?50290> Summary: wget --verbos is ambiguous although it is not Project: GNU Wget Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sun Feb 12 19:44:34 2017 Category: User Interface Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 1.19 Operating System: Mac OS Reproducibility: Every Time Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Regression: None Work Required: None Patch Included: None _______________________________________________________ Details: When calling "wget --v" the output is: >> wget: option '--v' is ambiguous; possibilities: '--verbose' '--version' '--verbose' When calling "wget --verb" (or --verbo, --verbos) the output is also: >> wget: option '--verb' is ambiguous; possibilities: '--verbose' '--verbose' For some reason "--verbose" is considered two times. The program sees an ambiguity where none is. When calling "wget --verbose" everything works fine. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?50290> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
