People do it all the time, though rapidshare.com's servers are known to
have a few bugs which cause problems when Wget is used to continue a
partially-downloaded file.
Perhaps if you provided a few more details, such as a log resulting from
Wget --debug, or even just what exactly is happening when you try to
download a file, we could provide suggestions?
