yes, tex makes lot of noise here.  It's accustomed to making pretty
books, so he feels sorry for every overfull and underfull box.

We could can change some parameters to be more relaxed about
under/over-fulls, but that would change the layout of the book, so we
cannot put it into @finalout.

I don't have a good solution for you at hand, I'm just trying to
explain.
