[Bug-tar] [GNU tar 1.26] testsuite: 20 39 failed

Hi,

With GNU tar 1.26, I get a test failure on powerpc-apple-darwin8:

Attached is log.

I think you can disregard test 20 failing, that might be a spurious 
failure with momentarily low disk space (even though I have well over 2 GB 
left).

Any idea why the symlink test (39) fails?
