Date: | Mon, 5 Sep 2005 07:26:29 -0500 |
Hello bug-tar list
I am looking for a definition of tar-exit-codes. I have read, that there are three codes: 0, 1 , 2
but what does it mean? I am asking, because I have got an exit-code 2 with tar.
I tried a lot to find an answer, but no success. I don´t know, where i can search further.
Perhaps, you can help me.
Here is what happened:
my tar-version
# tar --version
tar (GNU tar) 1.13.25
