    But, when I tried to follow the very instructions I'm reading,

    I noticed that the CVS repository for gnustandards does not yet
    contain the change as propogated to gnulib; 

Not the first time I've forgotten to commit changes even while
propagating them in all other ways, I'm afraid.

I committed (and pushed to gnulib) updates to both docs now.  Will wait
on www.gnu.org another couple days, since more are coming soon.

    By the way, can we switch gnustandards to git instead of CVS?

Sorry, I don't want to do that.
