bug?: colored-completion-prefix an completion-prefix-display-length don’t seem to work together

Hey.


It seems that when setting completion-prefix-display-length to a
positive number, colored-completion-prefix generally stops working
(simply no colour, whether or not an ellipsis is printed).


Shouldn't it make sense that this works independently?
If on sets e.g.
  set colored-completion-prefix 10
...so that long file names or so are abbreviated...
one still might want to have the short common prefixes for options or
so highlighted.


Maybe it would even make sense to allow setting a colour and/or
different string for the ellipsis, too.
That way one could e.g. use … (the unicode ellipsis) in a fainter
colour.
