[Bug-readline] make error 5.2

Dev,

I am trying to compile readline-5.2 on an iMac intel with 10.5.2.

The configure script runs without error but as soon as I try to

make the program the following error occurs. I tried readline-5.1

with the same error.

Thread model: posix

gcc version 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5465)
