Dear Parted Team,

I strongly suggest parted to list partitions present on a certain device
regardless whether they are considered inside the max LBA of that device or not.

These numbers are useful if you try to reassemble a broken disk array, LVM
group, or virtual HD image file where you are reading the partition table from
just one member.

Parted gives "Error Can't have a partition outside the disk!" which is only
partially helpful in these situations.

fdisk used to list them anyway giving useful information even if it appears to
be wrong under normal circumstances.
