Now I remember why the partition table backup position and disk size
were wrong ;) I had previously used parted on the raid array, not the
physical disk. I tried to revert things using parted again on /dev/md_d1
rather than the physical disk, but I got another assertion failure:
Assertion ((PedSector) PED_LE64_TO_CPU (gpt->AlternateLBA) <=
disk->dev->length - 1) at gpt.c:738 in function gpt_read() failed.
Cancel does nothing more, Ignore prints the partition table, but there
is no offer to fix the partition table this time. Anyway I have to fix
my setup by changing the physical disk partition to type "raid", and
then using LVM directly on the raid array.
