ped_device_probe_all

I get a floating point exception when I execute this function.  My DVD writer is /dev/hda and I noticed that this only occurs when media is in the drive (regardless of whether or not it is mounted).  Running the following command gives me a FPE as well:

tuxstudio:/usr/local # parted /dev/hda print
Warning: Unable to open /dev/hda read-write (Read-only file system).  /dev/hda
has been opened read-only.
You found a bug in GNU Parted.  Please email a bug report to address@hidden containing the version (1.6.6), and the following message:

The sector size on /dev/hda is 2048 bytes.  Parted is known not to work properlywith drives with sector sizes other than 512 bytes
Ignore/Cancel? c
Floating point exception

I am using SuSE 9.1.
address@hidden:/usr/bin> cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.4-54.5-smp (address@hidden) (gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux))
