Boot & root disks need

You are probably aware that the documentation at

http://www.gnu.org/manual/parted-1.6.1/html_mono/parted.html

is out of date.  In particular, under section 1.6 it gives a link for a boot 
disk and specific instructions for copying the parted binary from this "floppy" 
to a new boot disk.  After downloading and creating such a disk, I now realize 
that I need to start over with a "root" disk instead.  A minor setback.
