The NTFS people have written a FIPS-like resizer for NTFS.  We should
add support to it in Parted.  I'm accepting patches :)  If you
want to do this, you should probably tell me so you can listen to
my rants about how it should be done ;)  A good start is to look
at the way reiserfs support was added to parted.  I might get around to
doing it myself... if uni ever slows down...

Yes.  The linux-ntfs people have a *lot* of information about it.
