fdisk doesn't look at file systems. I presume /dev/hda1 is your
root device? In this case, it has an ext2 file system ;-)
Could you please send me the first 16k of the file system?
# dd if=/dev/hda1 bs=16k count=1 | gzip > ext2-start.gz
